ArsenalPC Gigabyte C301 GLASS Gaming Desktop

This new gaming desktop combines an AMD Ryzen 7 9700X 8-core processor with a Radeon RX 9070 XT graphics card. It includes 32GB of DDR5 memory and a 4TB NVMe SSD for fast storage. A 240mm liquid cooler manages thermals inside the Gigabyte C301 GLASS case. The system ships with Windows 11 Home installed and features RGB lighting.

Upgrade path from older AM4

The jump is worth it when moving from a 6-core CPU or a graphics card with less than 16GB of GDDR6 memory. The 8-core Ryzen 7 9700X at 3.8GHz and the RX 9070 XT provide headroom for 1440p and 4K gaming. Builders staying on an older platform will need a new AM5 motherboard and DDR5 memory to use these components.

Straightforward installation

The 240mm liquid cooler arrives installed on the CPU so there is no mounting work for the buyer. The 850W power supply has the connectors needed for the RX 9070 XT. The Gigabyte C301 GLASS case uses standard 288-pin DIMM slots for any future memory upgrades. Buyers who want more storage should check the motherboard for additional NVMe slots before adding drives.

Questions about this item

Will the 240 mm liquid cooler fit inside the Gigabyte C301 GLASS case?

The system ships with the 240 mm liquid cooler already installed in the C301 GLASS chassis, so no extra clearance check is needed.

How do I install Windows 11 on the 4 TB NVMe drive, and what step do people miss?

Windows 11 Home comes pre-installed on the 4 TB NVMe SSD; the only step buyers sometimes skip is running the first-boot updates before gaming.

When will the 850 W power supply or 240 mm liquid cooler need replacement?

The 850 W PSU and 240 mm AIO are rated for several years of continuous use; plan to inspect the cooler for pump noise or coolant loss after about three to five years.
