System Overview

The ArsenalPC Hyte X50 is a liquid-cooled gaming desktop built around a 20-core Intel Core i7-14700KF processor and an AMD Radeon RX 9070 graphics card with 16GB GDDR6 memory. It ships with Windows 11 Home, 16GB DDR5 RAM and a 2TB NVMe SSD. The Hyte X50 case includes a 360mm liquid cooler with a panoramic LCD panel and ten 120mm fans for airflow.

Upgrade Path

This configuration replaces an older system that struggles with modern titles at high settings or lacks a current-generation GPU architecture. The jump is worth it when your existing platform cannot supply enough CPU threads for background tasks while gaming or when storage speed bottlenecks level loading. Builders who need more than 16GB of memory or a second graphics card should look elsewhere.

Platform Limits

The Intel LGA 1700 chipset and 850W power supply define the practical ceiling for future component swaps. The installed DDR5 kit occupies two of the four DIMM 288-pin slots, leaving room for expansion within the controller's supported capacity. Network connectivity tops out at 2.5G Ethernet plus wireless, so workloads demanding faster wired throughput will hit a hard boundary.

Questions about this item

What case clearance does the 360 mm liquid cooler with panoramic LCD need inside the Hyte X50?

The 360 mm radiator mounts to the case with three 120 mm fans; the Hyte X50 chassis is designed to accept that radiator length without modification.

Which step is most often missed when seating the Core i7-14700KF into the LGA 1700 socket during a rebuild?

Align the notches, lower the CPU gently, then secure the retention lever fully before attaching the liquid-cooler cold plate; skipping the lever lock causes poor contact.

When should the 10 installed 120 mm fans and the 360 mm liquid cooler be cleaned or replaced?

Dust the seven case fans and three radiator fans every six months; replace any fan that develops bearing noise and plan coolant refresh around the five-year mark.
