Core i9-14900KF power for 4K gamers

This desktop pairs a 24-core Intel Core i9-14900KF running at 3.2GHz with an AMD Radeon RX 9070 graphics card holding 16GB of GDDR6 memory. Sixteen gigabytes of DDR5 system memory and a 2TB NVMe SSD complete the core specification. The machine targets enthusiasts who want high frame rates at 4K resolution and creators who need strong multi-threaded throughput for rendering or encoding workloads.

Hyte X50 chassis with panoramic LCD cooling

A 360mm liquid cooler fitted with a panoramic LCD panel handles the processor heat while displaying system stats or custom graphics. Ten 120mm fans — seven mounted in the case and three on the radiator — move air through the black Hyte X50 enclosure. An 850W power supply feeds every component, and connectivity includes 2.5G Ethernet plus a wireless card. The LGA 1700 platform uses 288-pin DIMM slots for the installed memory.

Steps up from mid-range 8-core or 12-core builds

Compared with systems built around 8-core or 12-core CPUs and 8GB or 12GB graphics cards, this configuration adds 24 threads and double the video memory for 4K texture pools. The jump makes sense when you regularly hit CPU limits in simulation titles, compile large codebases, or edit multi-cam 4K timelines. Buyers who only play at 1080p or 1440p on a 60Hz panel will not use the extra headroom.

Questions about this item

What Ethernet speed does the 2.5G port on this desktop actually cap at?

The integrated 2.5G Ethernet controller tops out at 2.5 gigabits per second, so sustained transfers will not exceed that ceiling even if the switch or router supports faster links.

What physical clearance does the 360mm liquid cooler with panoramic LCD need inside the Hyte X50 case?

The 360mm radiator occupies three 120mm fan slots on the top or front panel; the case already mounts seven 120mm case fans plus the three radiator fans, so no extra fan positions are left for that cooler.

How is the 360mm liquid cooler installed, and which step do builders most often miss?

The cooler arrives pre-filled and mounted to the CPU block; the step people forget is plugging the LCD screen’s internal USB header into the motherboard so the panoramic display actually lights up.
