System identity

This desktop combines an Intel Core Ultra 9 285K 24-core processor with an NVIDIA RTX 5070 graphics card and 128GB of DDR5 memory. It ships with Windows 11 Home pre-installed and uses a 360mm liquid cooler inside the ROG Strix Helios GX601 case. The 850W power supply supports the full component set for gaming and content creation workloads.

Sustained operation

The 360mm liquid cooler is designed to manage heat from the 24-core processor during extended sessions, keeping clocks stable when air coolers would throttle. The 850W unit delivers continuous power to the CPU and RTX 5070 without hitting protection limits under combined load. System memory and storage remain at operating temperature inside the chassis airflow path.

Storage and interface limits

The 2TB NVMe drive provides the primary boot and application volume, while the 2TB HDD adds bulk capacity for game libraries and media. The Intel LGA 1851 platform connects the NVMe device through PCIe lanes that also serve the GPU, so adding further high-speed drives would share bandwidth. The 2.5G Ethernet port caps wired network throughput at that rate.

Questions about this item

How loud and hot does the 360mm liquid cooler keep the Core Ultra 9 285K during all-day loads?

The 360mm liquid cooler is sized to handle the 24-core Core Ultra 9 285K at its 5.7GHz boost, keeping temperatures and fan noise lower than an equivalent air cooler under sustained gaming or rendering.

Which display cables and monitor inputs do I need for the RTX 5070 12GB GDDR7?

The RTX 5070 uses standard DisplayPort and HDMI outputs, so any monitor with those inputs and a matching cable will work; no proprietary adapter is required.

Will my existing 2.5G Ethernet switch and Wi-Fi router work with the motherboard's Intel LGA 1851 platform?

Yes, the onboard 2.5G Ethernet port and integrated wireless card connect to any 2.5G switch or Wi-Fi router using standard networking protocols.
