System overview

This ArsenalPC desktop pairs an Intel Core Ultra 9 285K processor with an NVIDIA GeForce RTX 5080 graphics card for high-end gaming and content creation. The 24-core CPU reaches 5.7 GHz while 32 GB of DDR5 memory and a 2 TB NVMe SSD plus 2 TB HDD provide capacity for large workloads. It ships with Windows 11 Home and a 1000 W power supply in an ASUS ROG Strix Helios GX601 case. Builders needing more than 32 GB of RAM or additional GPU slots should look elsewhere.

Thermals and acoustics

A 360 mm liquid cooler handles the 24-core processor so temperatures stay controlled during typical gaming sessions. The 1000 W unit supplies headroom for the RTX 5080 and other components without running near its limit. Integrated audio and 2.5G Ethernet keep the platform cable-tidy while RGB lighting adds visual flair. Buyers who prefer air cooling or a smaller chassis will not match this cooling approach.

Sustained load behaviour

Under extended heavy workloads the liquid loop maintains stable clocks on both the Core Ultra 9 285K and the RTX 5080 16 GB GDDR7. The 1000 W power supply delivers consistent output without throttling. Windows 11 Home manages background tasks while the dual-storage layout keeps read and write speeds high for long renders. Users requiring ECC memory or multi-GPU scaling will not find support here.

Questions about this item

How do I install the 360 mm liquid cooler in the ROG Strix Helios GX601 case, and what step do people often miss?

The cooler comes pre-filled and mounted on the Core Ultra 9 285K; the step many miss is connecting the pump header and the three fan headers to the motherboard so the 1000 W supply can drive them at full speed.

Which component will need maintenance or replacement first in this liquid-cooled system?

The 360 mm liquid cooler's pump and tubing are the first items that may need service or replacement after several years of continuous operation.

What limit appears first when the RTX 5080 16 GB GDDR7 runs sustained heavy loads?

The 1000 W power supply sets the overall power ceiling, so the GPU and 24-core CPU will hit that limit before thermal throttling on the 360 mm cooler becomes an issue.
