ROG Strix Helios GX601 chassis

This ArsenalPC gaming desktop uses the ROG Strix Helios GX601 case and is built around an AMD Ryzen 7 9700X eight-core processor running at 3.8 GHz. It targets enthusiasts who want a pre-assembled Windows 11 Home system with high-end graphics and large memory capacity for 1440p or 4K gaming.

360 mm liquid cooler and 850 W supply

A 360 mm liquid cooler handles the CPU thermals while the Radeon RX 9070 XT graphics card uses its own cooling solution. The 850 W power supply delivers headroom for the 16 GB GDDR6 GPU, 64 GB DDR5 memory, 1 TB NVMe SSD and 2 TB hard drive during sustained loads.

64 GB DDR5 and dual-storage layout

The 64 GB DDR5 kit removes the need for immediate memory upgrades and supports heavy multitasking or content creation. The combined 1 TB NVMe SSD and 2 TB HDD provide fast boot and application drives plus bulk storage without requiring extra drive bays or cables.

Questions about this item

How do I mount the 360 mm liquid cooler in the ROG Strix Helios GX601, and what step do people miss?

Install the radiator with fans pushing air out the top or front; the step most miss is removing the protective film from the CPU cold-plate before seating it.

Which part of the 360 mm liquid cooler will need replacement first?

The pump inside the 360 mm AIO is the wear item; plan to swap the whole unit after several years when flow drops or noise rises.

What limit appears first when the Ryzen 7 9700X and RX 9070 XT run flat-out?

The 850 W power supply hits its ceiling before the 360 mm cooler saturates, so sustained loads are capped by power headroom.
