System purpose

The ArsenalPC ROG Strix Helios GX601 is a liquid-cooled gaming desktop built around an AMD Ryzen 7 9800X3D processor with 16 cores running at 4.7 GHz. It pairs 128 GB of DDR5 memory with an NVIDIA RTX 5070 Ti graphics card carrying 16 GB of GDDR7 video memory. The combination targets players and creators who want high frame rates and responsive multitasking in a single, ready-to-use Windows 11 Home system.

Sustained performance

A 360 mm liquid cooler keeps the CPU temperature controlled during long sessions, while the 850 W power supply feeds both the processor and graphics card without throttling. Fast 2 TB NVMe storage loads games and project files quickly, and a matching 2 TB hard drive adds bulk capacity for media libraries. The 2.5 G Ethernet port and integrated Wi-Fi provide stable network throughput for competitive play or streaming.

Build and connectivity

The ROG Strix Helios GX601 chassis features RGB lighting and a black finish, with components brands that may vary between builds. Inside, the 288-pin DDR5 slots are fully populated, leaving no free memory sockets for future upgrades. Rear I/O includes integrated audio and the high-speed Ethernet jack, while the liquid cooling loop is pre-filled and sealed for maintenance-free operation.

Questions about this item

How loud and hot does the 360 mm liquid cooler keep the Ryzen 7 9800X3D during all-day loads?

The 360 mm liquid cooler is designed to handle the 16-core 4.7 GHz processor, so temperatures stay controlled and fan noise remains moderate even during extended gaming or rendering sessions.

Do I need to buy a monitor, keyboard and mouse separately to use this system?

The desktop ships with Windows 11 Home installed and includes Wi-Fi, 2.5 G Ethernet, integrated audio and multiple video outputs on the RTX 5070 Ti, so only a display and input devices are required to start.

Can I keep using my existing DDR5 memory kits alongside the installed 128 GB?

The motherboard uses the AMD AM5 platform with 288-pin DDR5 slots; any additional modules must be DDR5 and will run at the speed of the slowest kit installed.
