Ready-to-play desktop for 4K gaming

This ArsenalPC system pairs a Ryzen 7 9800X3D 16-core processor at 4.7GHz with an RTX 5090 graphics card carrying 32GB GDDR7 memory. The 128GB DDR5 capacity and dual-storage layout of 2TB NVMe SSD plus 2TB HDD give ample space for large game libraries and creative workloads. Windows 11 Home is pre-installed on the ROG Strix Helios GX601 chassis.

360mm liquid cooling handles the 1200W platform

A 360mm liquid cooler keeps the 16-core CPU and high-end GPU at stable temperatures during extended sessions. The 1200W power supply delivers headroom for the full component stack without strain. Integrated sound, 2.5G Ethernet and Wi-Fi provide connectivity while the liquid loop reduces fan noise compared with air-cooled equivalents.

ROG Strix Helios GX601 case with RGB lighting

The GX601 chassis features tempered-glass panels and addressable RGB illumination that can be synchronised across components. Front-panel I/O and a spacious interior make future drive or memory upgrades straightforward. Liquid-cooled construction means fewer moving parts to service, and the 288-pin DIMM slots support the installed 128GB DDR5 configuration.

Questions about this item

How do I mount the 360mm liquid cooler in the ROG Strix Helios GX601 case, and what step is often missed?

The 360mm radiator fits the top or front mounting points; the step often missed is connecting the pump header to the CPU_FAN connector so the BIOS can control speed from the Ryzen 7 9800X3D temperature.

Which component will need replacement first as the system ages?

The 360mm liquid cooler pump is the only moving part under constant load; plan to swap the AIO unit after several years when flow rate drops and the Ryzen 7 9800X3D runs warmer.

What limit appears first when the RTX 5090 and Ryzen 7 9800X3D run flat-out for hours?

The 1200W power supply is the first ceiling; sustained combined draw from the RTX 5090 32GB GDDR7 and 16-core processor can approach its rated output, triggering protection before thermals peak.
