ArsenalPC ROG Strix Helios GX601 Desktop

This pre-built gaming desktop pairs a 16-core AMD Ryzen 7 9800X3D processor with a Radeon RX 9070 XT graphics card. It includes 128GB of DDR5 memory across four slots, a 2TB NVMe solid-state drive and a 2TB SATA III hard drive. The system arrives with Windows 11 Home installed and a 360mm liquid cooler fitted.

850W power supply and sustained thermal load

The 850W unit feeds the CPU and 16GB GDDR6 GPU through extended sessions, while the 360mm liquid loop moves heat away from the 4.7GHz processor. This cooling capacity helps the 16-core chip hold high frequencies during long renders or competitive matches without thermal throttling. Component brands may vary inside the chassis.

PCI Express x16 interface and storage limits

The graphics card communicates over a single PCI Express x16 link, defining the bandwidth ceiling for the Radeon RX 9070 XT. The 2TB NVMe drive runs at the speed of its controller and the motherboard lane allocation, while the 2TB hard drive is bound by the SATA III interface maximum. Four DDR5 slots are fully populated at 128GB.

Questions about this item

How loud or hot does the 360mm liquid cooler keep the Ryzen 7 9800X3D under sustained loads?

The 360mm liquid cooler is designed to handle the 16-core Ryzen 7 9800X3D at its 4.7GHz base frequency during extended gaming sessions, maintaining stable temperatures without excessive fan noise.

Does the 850W power supply include the PCIe cables needed for the Radeon RX 9070 XT 16GB GDDR6?

Yes, the system ships fully assembled with the 850W unit connected to the RX 9070 XT via the required PCIe power cables, so no extra cabling is needed.

Will my existing SATA III hard drives work alongside the installed 2TB NVMe and 2TB HDD?

The motherboard provides additional SATA III ports, so any current SATA SSDs or mechanical drives can be added alongside the factory 2TB NVMe and 2TB HDD without adapter brackets.
