ArsenalPC ROG Strix Helios GX601 Gaming Desktop

This new ArsenalPC gaming desktop arrives in the ROG Strix Helios GX601 case with liquid cooling and RGB lighting. It runs Windows 11 Home and targets players who want a ready-to-play system for 1440p or 4K gaming. The 2.5G Ethernet port and wireless card handle network traffic. Builders who prefer to choose every component themselves will look elsewhere.

Upgrade path from older Ryzen platforms

The Ryzen 9 9900X brings 12 cores at 4.4 GHz on the AMD AM5 chipset, a clear step up from 8-core or 6-core CPUs on earlier sockets. The RTX 5070 Ti with 16 GB GDDR7 replaces cards with 8 GB or 12 GB of video memory. The 360 mm liquid cooler keeps thermals in check under sustained load. Owners of recent high-end builds will see smaller gains.

64 GB DDR5 and dual-drive storage layout

Sixty-four gigabytes of DDR5 memory gives headroom for gaming while streaming, video editing or running virtual machines. The 1 TB NVMe SSD holds the operating system and active titles for fast loads. The 2 TB HDD stores larger media libraries and backups. Users who need multiple terabytes of fast solid-state space will need to add drives.
