Ryzen 9 9900X3D liquid-cooled desktop

This ArsenalPC system pairs a 12-core Ryzen 9 9900X3D processor running at 4.4GHz with an AMD Radeon RX 9070 graphics card holding 16GB GDDR6 memory. A 360mm liquid cooler handles CPU thermals inside the ROG Strix Helios GX601 chassis. It targets enthusiasts who want a pre-built Windows 11 Home machine ready for high-refresh gaming and heavy multitasking.

Thermals noise and 750W power

The 360mm liquid cooler keeps the 12-core processor at stable temperatures during extended sessions, while the 750W power supply delivers headroom for the GPU and 128GB DDR5 memory kit. Integrated audio and 2.5G Ethernet run without adding acoustic load, and the case RGB lighting operates independently of thermal curves. Normal workloads stay quiet because the liquid loop moves heat to the radiator before fans ramp.

Dual-drive storage and AI-ready memory

A 2TB NVMe SSD provides the OS and active-game volume, while a 2TB HDD adds bulk capacity for media and backups without consuming a second NVMe slot. The 128GB DDR5 kit fills four 288-pin DIMM slots, leaving no room for further memory upgrades. Wireless networking and the AI-ready platform designation support current machine-learning workloads, but buyers needing more than 2TB of fast storage or additional DIMM headroom should look elsewhere.

Questions about this item

How is the 360mm liquid cooler installed in the ROG Strix Helios GX601, and which step do builders often skip?

The 360mm radiator mounts to the top or front panel using the included brackets; the step often skipped is removing the protective film from the cold-plate before seating it on the Ryzen 9 9900X3D.

What maintenance will the liquid-cooling loop and the 2TB NVMe plus 2TB HDD storage need later?

Check the 360mm radiator fins for dust every few months and verify pump noise; the NVMe and HDD require no scheduled service, but keep firmware updated via Windows Update.

Which limit appears first during sustained loads — the 750W power supply or the 360mm liquid cooler?

The 360mm liquid cooler typically hits its thermal capacity before the 750W power supply reaches its output ceiling under prolonged gaming on the RX 9070 and Ryzen 9 9900X3D.
