System profile

The ArsenalPC ROG Strix Helios GX601 is a pre-built gaming desktop built around an AMD Ryzen 9 9950X3D 16-core processor and an NVIDIA RTX 5070 graphics card. It ships with 64GB of DDR5 memory, a 2TB NVMe SSD paired with a 2TB hard drive, and Windows 11 Home. The configuration targets enthusiasts who want a complete, liquid-cooled system ready for high-refresh gameplay and heavy multitasking without selecting individual components.

Thermals and power

A 360mm liquid cooler handles the CPU while the 850W power supply feeds the GPU and platform. The ROG Strix Helios GX601 case provides airflow for the radiator and internally mounted hardware. Under typical gaming loads the cooling loop keeps temperatures controlled and fan speeds moderate, while the 2.5G Ethernet and Wi-Fi connectivity remain active. The power budget accommodates the listed specification with headroom for the installed parts.

Deciding specification

The RTX 5070 includes 12GB of GDDR7 video memory, which sets the ceiling for texture resolution and frame-buffer capacity in modern titles. Buyers who need more VRAM for 4K ultra settings or professional GPU workloads should consider a different graphics tier. The 64GB DDR5 capacity and dual-drive storage layout are fixed by this build, so expansion beyond the provided 2TB NVMe and 2TB HDD requires opening the chassis.

Questions about this item

How do I install the 360mm liquid cooler in the ROG Strix Helios GX601 case and what step is often missed?

Mount the radiator to the top or front panel using the included brackets, then connect the pump header to the CPU_FAN connector on the AM5 motherboard — skipping this header link is the common error.

What maintenance will the liquid cooling loop and the 850W power supply need later?

The sealed 360mm loop requires no refill; only dust the radiator fins every few months. The 850W unit has no user-serviceable parts — replace the whole PSU if voltages drift.

Which limit appears first when the Ryzen 9 9950X3D and RTX 5070 run sustained loads?

The 850W power supply ceiling is reached before the 360mm liquid cooler saturates, so total system draw caps sustained performance.
