System Core

This desktop centres on a Ryzen 9 9950X3D 16-core processor running at 4.3 GHz, paired with a Radeon RX 9070 XT graphics card carrying 16 GB GDDR6 memory. It is built for enthusiasts who want high frame rates in modern titles and the multi-threaded headroom for content creation or streaming. The platform uses the AM5 chipset and includes Wi-Fi plus 2.5G Ethernet.

Storage and Memory Headroom

Sixty-four gigabytes of DDR5 memory and a 2 TB NVMe SSD give ample space for large game libraries, heavy multitasking and scratch disks. A second 2 TB HDD adds bulk capacity for archives or media. The combination covers most workloads without immediate upgrades, though users planning extensive 4K video libraries or massive simulation datasets may eventually need additional drives.

Build Integration

The ROG Strix Helios GX601 case houses a 360 mm liquid cooler for the CPU and an 850 W power supply, delivering thermal control and stable power in a single chassis. Windows 11 Home is pre-installed and the system ships tested. RGB lighting is integrated. The 288-pin DIMM form factor and standard ATX layout mean the platform accepts common upgrades, while the liquid loop and PSU capacity set practical limits on how far the GPU or CPU can be pushed.

Questions about this item

Will the ROG Strix Helios GX601 case fit my existing 288-pin DDR5 memory if I want to expand beyond the 64GB installed?

The board uses standard 288-pin DDR5 slots, so any compatible DDR5 module will fit the four DIMM sockets inside the GX601 chassis.

How can I confirm the 360 mm liquid cooler is keeping the Ryzen 9 9950X3D at its 4.3 GHz boost under load?

Watch the CPU temperature in ASUS Armoury Crate or HWMonitor while gaming; the 360 mm radiator should hold the 16-core chip well below its thermal limit at sustained 4.3 GHz.

Does the 850 W supply include the PCIe cables needed for the RX 9070 XT, or must I buy them separately?

The 850 W unit ships with the required PCIe power leads for the Radeon RX 9070 XT already attached, so no extra cables are needed.
