System identity

This ArsenalPC Strix Helios GX601 is a new gaming desktop built around an AMD Ryzen 9 9950X3D 16-core processor running at 4.3GHz and an NVIDIA GeForce RTX 5080 graphics card with 16GB GDDR7 memory. It targets enthusiasts who want a complete, liquid-cooled Windows 11 Home system ready for 4K gaming and heavy multitasking without assembly. Buyers needing a compact chassis or a lower power envelope should look elsewhere.

Cooling and memory impact

A 360mm liquid cooler keeps the 16-core CPU at stable temperatures during sustained loads, while 128GB of DDR5 RAM across four populated slots eliminates memory bottlenecks in content-creation workloads and future-proofs the platform. The 1000W power supply delivers headroom for the GPU and all peripherals. Users who plan to add more memory later will find no free slots available.

Deciding specification

The 4TB NVMe SSD provides the single capacity figure that determines whether this system can hold a large game library and project files without secondary drives. With the operating system and primary applications installed, the remaining space dictates how many modern titles or media assets fit locally. Shoppers who require more storage must add drives themselves.

Questions about this item

How often should the 360mm liquid cooler be checked or refilled?

The 360mm liquid cooler is a sealed all-in-one unit; no refilling is required, but dusting the radiator fins every few months keeps airflow steady.

Which component hits its thermal limit first during extended 4K gaming?

The Ryzen 9 9950X3D 16-core CPU or the RTX 5080 16GB GDDR7 GPU will throttle first depending on workload balance.

What is the typical power draw from the 1000W supply when the system runs all day?

Under sustained load the Ryzen 9 9950X3D and RTX 5080 together can pull several hundred watts, well within the 1000W capacity.
