ArsenalPC Strix Helios GX601 Gaming Desktop

The ArsenalPC Strix Helios GX601 is a new gaming desktop PC built around an AMD Ryzen 9 9950X3D 16-core processor running at 4.3GHz. It pairs the CPU with an NVIDIA GeForce RTX 5080 graphics card holding 16GB of GDDR7 memory. A 360mm liquid cooler manages thermals while 64GB of DDR5 RAM and a 4TB NVMe SSD provide the memory and storage foundation. The system ships with Windows 11 Home installed and a 1000W power supply.

Suits 4K gaming and heavy multitasking.

This desktop suits users who want a 16-core Ryzen 9 CPU and an RTX 5080 GPU in a single validated system for 4K gaming, content creation or virtual reality workloads. The liquid cooling and 1000W power supply support sustained high loads. Buyers needing a small-form-factor chassis or a lower-power platform for basic office tasks should look elsewhere, as this configuration prioritises maximum throughput over minimal footprint.

AM5 socket defines CPU upgrade path

The motherboard uses the AM5 socket, which determines which future Ryzen processors can be installed without changing the board. The current CPU is a 16-core 9950X3D at 4.3GHz. Anyone planning a later processor swap must select a chip compatible with this socket; other sockets will not fit.

Questions about this item

How do I install the 360 mm liquid cooler on the AM5 socket without bending the CPU pins?

The CPU ships already mounted in the AM5 socket with the 360 mm liquid cooler attached, so no socket installation is required; just connect the pump and fan headers to the motherboard.

When will the 360 mm liquid cooler need coolant replacement or pump service?

The sealed 360 mm liquid cooler is maintenance-free for its rated lifespan; no coolant top-ups or pump servicing are expected during normal use.

At what point does the 1000 W power supply become the limiting factor during sustained full-load gaming?

The 1000 W unit powers the 16-core Ryzen 9 9950X3D and RTX 5080 together; sustained loads approaching its rated output will trigger protection before any component throttles.
