What this pillow is

The SobaMakura buckwheat pillow measures 20 by 12 inches and ships new with a white 100 percent cotton cover. It is filled with premium buckwheat hulls that conform to the head and neck for support and alignment. The hypoallergenic filling resists dust mites and suits allergy sufferers. Assembly is required so the owner can set the initial loft.

Adjustable loft via zippered opening

A zippered opening lets you add or remove hulls to change the pillow height and firmness to your preference. The cover is removable and machine washable for easy cleaning. Because the fill is adjustable, the pillow works for back, side and stomach sleepers who want a custom feel. No tools are needed to modify the fill level.

Sustained comfort through breathability

Buckwheat hulls promote airflow so the pillow stays cool through the night without trapping heat. The natural filling keeps its shape over time instead of flattening like synthetic foam or fiber. Hypoallergenic properties remain effective with regular cover washing. The durable construction supports long-term nightly use.
