Buckwheat Neck Roll Pillow

The SobaMakura pillow is filled with premium buckwheat hulls that contour to the neck and shoulders for targeted support. A zippered opening lets you add or remove hulls to adjust the loft to personal preference. The breathable fill promotes natural temperature regulation throughout the year. Its soft white cover is removable and machine-washable for easy care.

Adjustable Support for Sleep and Relaxation

This pillow suits adults seeking firm, mouldable support to alleviate tension and encourage restorative sleep. The adjustable loft accommodates back and side sleepers who want to fine-tune height and density. Shoppers who prefer a soft, plush feel or a pillow that requires no setup should consider a different style. The compact roll shape is designed for neck use rather than full-body cushioning.

Consistent Comfort Through the Night

Buckwheat hulls maintain their structure and airflow during extended use, so the pillow does not flatten or trap heat like synthetic fills. The hulls shift quietly with movement, preserving support without needing frequent fluffing. The washable cover protects the fill from moisture and oils, keeping performance stable over time. It delivers steady, breathable support from bedtime to morning.

Questions about this item

Does the zippered opening let me add or remove hulls without extra tools?

Yes, the zippered opening allows you to add or remove buckwheat hulls by hand to adjust the loft.

Will the 17-inch length fit inside a standard pillowcase I already own?

At 17 inches long, it fits most standard pillowcases, though the 3-inch diameter may feel snug in tighter cases.

How can I confirm the hulls are still breathable after the first wash?

After washing and drying the cover, the buckwheat hulls inside should still allow air flow and feel cool to the touch.
