Industrial Pressure Gauge 0-160 psi
The Ashcroft 251009 is a new industrial pressure gauge designed for technicians and engineers who need reliable pressure measurement up to 160 psi. Its 2 1/2 inch dial provides clear readings in hydraulic, pneumatic and process systems. The stainless steel case and polycarbonate lens suit harsh environments.
Accuracy and environmental limits
The gauge delivers an accuracy of +/- 1.0 percent of full scale across the 0 to 160 psi range. With the vent plug closed it meets IP65 and NEMA 4 ratings for dust and water jet protection; with the plug vented it meets IP54. The 304 stainless steel case resists corrosion but the polycarbonate lens and dry dampening set temperature and chemical limits.
Capacity and headroom
The 1/4 inch NPT male lower-back connection fits standard instrumentation ports and the PLUS! Performance dampening reduces pointer flutter on pulsating media. The fixed 0 to 160 psi range cannot be re-calibrated for higher pressures and the gauge is not field fillable, so liquid-filled damping cannot be added later. Applications above 160 psi require a different instrument.

Questions about this item
Which pressure range suits a 0-160 psi system?
The gauge covers 0 to 160 psi with ±1.0% accuracy, matching systems that operate within that span.
What does the ±1.0% accuracy mean on the job?
Readings stay within 1.0% of true pressure across the 0-160 psi range, so a 100 psi reading is accurate to ±1 psi.
How does the NPT connection affect installation?
The 1/4 in male NPT lower-back connection threads directly into compatible ports without adapters.
