Ready-to-Play Acoustic-Electric Bundle

This Ashthorpe 41" Dreadnought acoustic-electric guitar arrives as a complete bundle for beginners and advanced players. It can be played acoustically without an amplifier or plugged in for electric performance. The package includes two sets of coated strings, with one set already installed so you can tune and play immediately. A spare set is provided for future changes.

Simple Setup with Pre-Installed Strings

The guitar ships with one set of high-quality strings pre-installed, requiring only tuning before the first session. A second set of strings with stranded steel cores wound with stainless steel and phosphor-bronze is included as a spare. The proprietary anti-rust coating on all strings helps maintain tone and extends string life through regular use.

Verify Amplifier and Playing Style Needs

This instrument functions as both an acoustic and electric guitar, but an amplifier is not included in the bundle. Buyers who want amplified sound must supply their own amp and cable. The integrated 4-band pickup equalizer with volume control offers bass, mid-range, treble and presence sliders for tonal shaping when plugged in. Players seeking a purely acoustic instrument without electronics may prefer a non-electric model.

Questions about this item

How can I confirm the 4-band pickup equalizer is working after I plug the guitar into an amplifier?

Turn the volume knob up, then adjust each slide control for bass, mid-range, treble and presence while listening through the amp to hear the tonal changes.

What accessories are included in the bundle and what must I buy separately?

The bundle includes the guitar with one set of coated strings pre-installed plus a second spare set; an amplifier is not included and must be purchased separately.

Which version should I choose if I want the full-size dreadnought body with X-bracing and the integrated 4-band equalizer?

This single model is a 41-inch dreadnought with a 4.5-inch thick X-braced spruce top and the built-in 4-band pickup equalizer, so no other version selection is needed.
