Ready-to-play acoustic-electric bundle

This Ashthorpe package pairs a 41-inch dreadnought acoustic-electric guitar with a 10-watt amplifier so beginners and advancing players can start immediately. The guitar works acoustically or plugged in, and the amp provides a 5-inch speaker with bass and treble controls plus built-in overdrive.

Amp and pickup controls shape your sound

The 10-watt amplifier adds a 5-inch speaker and two-band EQ with bass and treble knobs plus an overdrive circuit for distorted tones. The guitar's onboard 4-band pickup equaliser offers volume, bass, mid, treble and presence sliders for detailed tonal adjustment when amplified.

Two string sets and full-size body fit

Two sets of coated steel strings are included with one set pre-installed and a spare set supplied. The dreadnought body measures 4.5 inches thick, so verify your case or gig bag accommodates this depth and that you have mains power for the amplifier.

Questions about this item

When will the pre-installed strings with stranded steel cores and anti-rust coating need replacement?

The coated strings resist corrosion, but playing time, humidity and sweat eventually wear them; swap to the spare set when tone dulls or tuning becomes unstable.

What is the first limit reached when running the 10-watt amplifier at high volume for long sessions?

The 5-inch speaker in the 10-watt amp will compress and distort before the guitar's electronics or preamp reach any limit.

How much heat or fan noise does the included 10-watt amplifier produce during all-day use?

The solid-state 10-watt amp runs cool and silent with no fan; only the speaker emits sound, so heat and noise stay minimal.
