DLC for Planet Coaster

The Magnificent Rides Collection is downloadable content that expands the base strategy game with nine new rides, coasters and one variant. It is designed for existing Planet Coaster players who want additional attractions to entertain park guests. A Steam account and the base game are required for activation and play. The product is delivered as an online code for PC and Mac.

Sustained gameplay additions

The collection introduces flat rides such as Power Moves and Hyperjump alongside new coaster types that integrate with existing park management systems. These attractions operate within the established simulation framework, allowing long-term park development without altering core mechanics. Blueprints and customisation options support ongoing layout optimisation and profitability planning across extended play sessions.

Compatibility checklist

Verify that you own Planet Coaster on Steam before purchasing, as this DLC will not function without the base game. Confirm your account region is not among the blocked countries listed in the specifications. Ensure your operating system meets the minimum requirement of macOS 10.14 Mojave or later for Mac play, or the equivalent Windows environment supported by the base title.

Questions about this item

Does the Steam download add any background processes that run when I am not playing?

No, the DLC only adds nine rides and one variant to Planet Coaster; it installs no separate launcher or background service.

What do I already need to own before I can activate the 68034 code on Steam?

You need a Steam account and the base game Planet Coaster on Steam; the code unlocks the Magnificent Rides Collection DLC for that title.

Will the new rides appear in save files created before the 2018 release date?

Yes, once the DLC is installed the nine rides and the Power Moves variant become available in any existing or new park.
