What you get

Borderlands 2: Creature Slaughterdome is a downloadable DLC pack published by Aspyr for Mac. The online code unlocks a dedicated arena where players face waves of Pandora’s toughest creatures. Successful runs award experience and gear that carry back into the main campaign. A Steam account is required for activation and installation.

Who this suits and who it does not

Mac owners who already own Borderlands 2 and want extra end‑game combat will find the arena a focused challenge. Buyers without the base game cannot use this content. The product is blocked in several countries listed in the specifications, so activation will fail there. Players seeking new story missions or cooperative map types should look elsewhere.

Build fit and requirements

The DLC installs on macOS 10.7.5 or 10.8.4 and needs an Intel Core 2 Duo at 2.2 GHz with 4 GB RAM and 13 GB of free disk space. Supported video hardware includes Radeon HD 2600 or better, GeForce 8800‑class or newer, and Intel HD Graphics 3000 or 4000 with 256 MB VRAM. A Macintosh mouse and keyboard are required; an Xbox 360 wired gamepad is also supported.

Questions about this item

Do I need the base Borderlands 2 game installed before using this ASPYR052 DLC code?

Will the Creature Slaughterdome DLC run on my Mac with an Intel HD Graphics 3000 chip?

Yes, Intel HD Graphics 3000 and 4000 are listed as supported video cards. Your Mac must also meet the minimum 2.2GHz Core 2 Duo CPU, 4 GB RAM, 13 GB disk space and OS X 10.7.5 or 10.8.4 requirements.

How can I verify the Creature Slaughterdome content is active after redeeming the code on Steam?

Launch Borderlands 2 and check the downloadable content menu or fast-travel list; the Creature Slaughterdome arena should appear as a selectable destination once the DLC is installed and recognised by the game.
