Game Identity

Death Track: Rssurrection is a combat-racing title from Aspyr rated T for Teen. Players race weaponised cars through ruined versions of ten major cities including London, Tokyo and New York. A story-driven single-player campaign ties the destructive events together.

Player Fit

The game suits anyone who wants arcade-style vehicular combat with a narrative backdrop and a variety of upgradeable cars. It does not satisfy players looking for online multiplayer modes, realistic simulation handling or a modern graphics showcase.

Sustained Play

Races remain consistent in length and intensity across the campaign, with destructible scenery refreshing each lap. The fixed roster of ten tracks and ten vehicles means variety plateaus once every combination has been mastered.

Questions about this item

Will this game run on a Windows 7 PC with a DVD drive?

The title was first listed by the manufacturer on 27 February 2009 and ships as a physical PC disc, so a Windows-era machine with an optical drive is required.

Can I play this alongside my older DirectX 9 racing titles without conflicts?

It installs as a standalone game with its own folder and registry entries, so it will not overwrite files from earlier racing games.

How do I verify the game launched correctly after installation?

The main menu should display the ESRB T - Teen rating and list all 10 post-apocalyptic cities — Bangkok, Vatican City, London, Moscow, New York, Paris, Prague, San Diego, Istanbul and Tokyo — as selectable tracks.
