Steel Legend Arc B580 identity

This ASRock graphics card carries the Steel Legend branding and the Intel Arc B580 GPU. It is built for gamers and creators who need 12 GB of GDDR6 memory on a 192-bit bus. The white triple-fan cooler fits a standard ATX form factor.

PCI Express 4.0 x8 interface

The card connects through a PCI Express 4.0 x8 slot, which determines platform compatibility and peak bandwidth. Two 8-pin power connectors feed the 2800 MHz core clock across 20 Xe-cores. A 650 W power supply is the recommended minimum.

Thermals noise and power draw

Triple fans move air across a 2.6-slot heatsink inside a 298 mm long shroud. Under typical gaming loads the cooling assembly keeps temperatures in check while fan speeds stay moderate. The 650 W PSU recommendation reflects the board’s total power envelope.

Questions about this item

What does the 2800 MHz core clock mean for real-world performance on the Arc B580?

The 2800 MHz core clock is the rated boost frequency of the 20 Xe-cores, so the GPU can sustain high compute throughput in supported titles and workloads.

What bandwidth does the PCI Express 4.0 x8 interface actually deliver to the Arc B580?

The PCIe 4.0 x8 slot provides the electrical link for the Arc B580; it caps the host-to-GPU transfer rate at the x8 lane width of the 4.0 specification.

Will the 298 mm length and 2.6-slot width fit in a standard ATX case?

The card measures 298 mm long and occupies 2.6 slots, so verify your case clearance and motherboard spacing before installing the triple-fan cooler.
