27" QHD 1500R curved gaming monitor

The ASRock Phantom Gaming PG27QRT2A is a 27-inch QHD display with a 2560 x 1440 resolution and a 1500R curvature. It uses a VA panel rated at 180Hz refresh rate and 1ms MPRT response time. Adaptive sync is provided by AMD FreeSync Premium. The monitor includes an integrated Wi-Fi antenna compatible with Wi-Fi 4, 5, 6, 6E and 7.

Who this suits and who should look elsewhere

Competitive gamers benefit from the high 180Hz refresh rate and low response time. The 5000:1 contrast ratio and 95% DCI-P3 coverage serve creators who want deep blacks and wide colour. Buyers needing higher pixel density for detailed text work or those requiring USB-C video input should consider other models.

Deciding specification: 180Hz refresh rate

The 180Hz maximum refresh rate is the single figure that determines suitability for high-frame-rate gaming. It requires a graphics card capable of driving 2560 x 1440 at that speed over DisplayPort 1.4 or HDMI 2.0. If the target system cannot sustain such frame rates, a lower-refresh panel may offer better value.

How do I confirm the 180 Hz refresh rate is active after connecting my PC?

Open your graphics control panel or Windows display settings and verify the refresh rate dropdown shows 180 Hz for the 2560 x 1440 resolution. In games, enable the on-screen frame counter and check that the frame rate can reach 180 fps when V-Sync is off.

Which cables and accessories are included versus sold separately?
