Dual-node density in 1U

The ASRock Rack 1U2N2G-AM5/2T fits two independent server nodes into a single 1U rackmount chassis. Each node accepts one AM5 socket processor from the AMD EPYC 4005 or 4004 series, or from the Ryzen 9000, 8000 and 7000 families, with a thermal ceiling of 120 W. The platform targets general-purpose workloads that benefit from high compute density.

PCIe 5.0 expansion and DDR5 5600 memory limits

Each node provides one full-height full-length dual-slot PCIe 5.0 x16 slot that can bifurcate into two single-slot x8 links, and one M-key M.2 slot wired for PCIe 4.0 x4 in the 2280 form factor. Memory capacity stops at 192 GB across four 288-pin DDR5 5600 UDIMM slots with ECC support, so configurations needing more memory or faster DRAM speeds cannot be satisfied.

Redundant CRPS power and front I/O

A 1+1 CRPS power supply delivers 1600 W at 200–240 V input or 1000 W at 100–127 V, with 80 PLUS Platinum efficiency. Front access includes two USB 3.2 Gen 1 ports and a VGA connector per node, while dual RJ45 ports driven by a Broadcom BCM57416 controller provide 10 Gigabit Ethernet. Eight hot-swap PWM fans handle cooling, and IPMI remote management is built in.
