This 1U rackmount barebone accepts a single LGA 4677 processor and includes a 1+1 Platinum 750 W power supply. Eight DDR5 DIMM slots support RDIMM and RDIMM-3DS modules. Four hot-swap 3.5″ SATA bays and four fixed 2.5″ SATA bays provide internal storage capacity. A single full-height PCIe 5.0 x16 slot and an M.2 PCIe 3.0 x4 connector handle add-in cards.

Suited for dense compute nodes

The dual Intel X550 10 GbE ports and IPMI remote management fit scale-out clusters and virtualization hosts that rely on SATA storage. Builders who need more than one processor socket or additional PCIe expansion slots should look at larger chassis. The single x16 slot also limits multi-GPU or multi-accelerator configurations.

Single LGA 4677 socket for 4th Gen Xeon Scalable

Only one Socket E processor is supported, so the platform scales vertically through core count and memory rather than by adding CPUs. Eight DDR5 channels populate at one DIMM per channel for maximum bandwidth. This constraint defines whether the barebone matches the intended workload.
