No CPU or memory is installed, so buyers select processors and DDR4 RDIMM, LRDIMM or 3DS modules to match their performance and budget targets.

Storage capacity and headroom

Eight hot-swap bays provide flexible density: four 2.5-inch slots accept NVMe PCIe3.0 x4 or SATA drives, while four 3.5-inch slots take SATA drives. The single M.2 socket adds a PCIe4.0 x4 or SATA 6Gb/s boot or cache device. Builds needing more than eight front drives or multiple GPU accelerators will exceed the internal space and the single FHHL PCIe4.0 x16 slot.

Build quality and daily connectivity

A redundant 1+1 Platinum 750W slim power supply supports continuous operation in rack environments.
