Product and Audience

This downloadable content adds three officially licensed Mercedes-Benz Citaro buses to Bus Simulator 16 on PC. It is designed for existing owners who want more vehicle variety in their virtual fleet. The expansion includes the nimble Citaro K, the versatile Citaro C2, and the articulated four-door Citaro G. Buyers who do not already own the base game on Steam cannot use this product.

Installation and Common Issues

The DLC is delivered as a Steam activation code that requires an internet connection and a Steam account. Activation is restricted and will not work in several listed countries and regions. The most common issue is attempting to redeem the code without first installing the base game Bus Simulator 16. Another frequent problem is purchasing from a blocked region, which prevents the content from being added to the library.

Pre-Purchase Checks

Verify that you own Bus Simulator 16 on Steam before ordering this expansion. Confirm that your account region is not among the blocked territories listed in the specifications. Ensure your PC meets the base game's minimum system requirements, as the DLC does not lower them. A stable internet connection is mandatory for the initial Steam activation and download process.

Questions about this item

How do I verify the Mercedes-Benz Citaro DLC is working after I activate the Steam code?

Launch Bus Simulator 16 on Steam and confirm the Citaro K, Citaro C2 and Citaro G appear in your vehicle selection menu with their correct lengths of 10.6, 12.1 and 18.1 metres.

What do I receive with purchase code 41842 and what else is needed to play?

You receive a Steam activation code for the DLC; the base game Bus Simulator 16 must already be owned on the same Steam account to access the three licensed buses.

Which version of the Citaro expansion should I choose for the 18.1-metre articulated bus?

This single DLC (model 41842) includes all three variants — Citaro K, Citaro C2 and the 18.1-metre Citaro G — so no separate version selection is required.
