Questions about this item

What base game must I already own on Steam before I can activate the 76055 Gold Upgrade?

You need Bus Simulator 21 Next Stop installed on the same Steam account; the upgrade only adds DLC to that title.

After buying the code, what exact steps activate the DLC on my PC?

Open Steam, choose Activate a Product on Steam, enter the supplied key, then launch Bus Simulator 21 Next Stop — the new packs appear automatically.

Will any of the six included packs such as the MAN Bus Pack or Protect Nature Interior Pack require a separate purchase later?

No, the Gold Upgrade bundles every premium DLC released so far, so no further payment is needed for those packs.
