What Seafarer: The Ship Sim Is

Seafarer: The Ship Sim is a maritime simulation game for PC, published by Astragon and developed by Independent Arts Software. It releases on 7 October 2025 as an Early Access title on Steam. The downloadable code activates on a Steam account in supported regions only.

Sustained Play Experience

The game offers an open world with dynamic wave simulation and changing weather that evolve during long sessions. Players manage a growing fleet across careers such as cargo transport and firefighting. Faction interactions and varied missions provide ongoing objectives rather than a short campaign.

Installation and Common Issues

Activation requires a Steam account and an internet connection in a non-blocked country. The minimum specification lists a 64-bit Windows 10 system with an Intel Core i3-12100F or equivalent processor. Buyers in blocked regions cannot redeem the code, and Early Access means features and performance will change over time.

Questions about this item

How much power does the Intel Core i3-12100F draw when Seafarer: The Ship Sim runs all day?

The minimum specification lists an Intel Core i3-12100F at 3.3 GHz. Actual power draw depends on your full system configuration and in-game settings, not on the game code itself.

What account must I already own before I can activate the Steam code?

A Steam account is required for activation and installation. The product key is redeemed through the Steam client on Windows 10 64-Bit.

Will the downloadable version run on my Windows 10 64-Bit PC alongside older titles in my Steam library?

Yes. The game requires Windows 10 64-Bit and a Steam account, so it installs like any other Steam title and coexists with older games in the same library.
