  • Magnetic closure keeps the case securely shut and allows wireless charging
  • Synthetic leather exterior with soft interior prevents scratches and absorbs shocks

Compatible Kindle Models

This slim protective cover fits the 7-inch Kindle Paperwhite 12th Generation 2024 and the Kindle Colorsoft Signature Edition 2024. It is designed for readers who want a lightweight case that supports the automatic wake and sleep function. The precise cutouts keep every button and port accessible while the magnetic closure holds the cover shut.

Daily Protection and Charging

The durable synthetic leather exterior and soft interior guard the e-reader against scratches, shocks and everyday abrasion. A hard polycarbonate back shell adds structural rigidity without noticeable bulk. Wireless charging works through the case so the device can stay protected while it powers up.

Simple Fit and Common Issues

Installation is a matter of snapping the Kindle into the custom-moulded shell; no tools or adhesives are required. The magnetic latch engages automatically when the cover is closed. Some users find the hand strap stiff at first and the auto sleep sensor may not trigger if the cover is not fully aligned.

Questions about this item

Does the synthetic leather cover trap heat when the Kindle Paperwhite 12th Generation 2024 runs continuously?

The slim synthetic leather shell adds negligible insulation; the e-ink display draws minimal power so the device stays cool during all-day reading.

Which specific Kindle models must I already own for the auto wake/sleep magnet and wireless charging to function?

The case only fits the 7" Kindle Paperwhite 12th Generation 2024 and Kindle Colorsoft Signature Edition 2024; other models will not align the magnet or charging coil.

Will the precise cutouts and hand strap still align if I keep using my older Kindle Paperwhite alongside the new 2024 model?

The moulded polycarbonate back and strap anchors are cut exclusively for the 2024 dimensions, so an older Paperwhite will not seat correctly or trigger sleep/wake.
