The Spartan short antenna

The Spartan is a 13 3/4 inch replacement antenna designed for Jeep Wrangler and Gladiator models. It replaces the tall factory mast with a compact, patented design that adds red carbon fiber trim for visual customisation. The accessory targets drivers who want a shorter profile without sacrificing radio reception quality.

Tuned copper coil reception

A tuned internal copper coil provides up to 85 percent more conductivity than typical aluminum or steel short antennas. This construction allows the antenna to pull in stations that shorter alternatives often miss, delivering performance closer to the original factory antenna. The design focuses on sustained signal clarity rather than brief burst reception.

Stainless steel threading durability

The antenna ships with USA stainless steel threading that resists corrosion and wear during daily driving. No radiator, fan or power-draw figures apply to this passive component, so thermals and noise are not relevant. The fixed 13 3/4 inch length may not suit buyers who need a different height or a fully retractable mast.

Questions about this item

How does the 85% more conductive copper coil handle constant daily use?

The tuned internal copper coil is up to 85% more conductive than typical aluminium or steel short antennas, maintaining strong radio reception throughout all-day driving without overheating or signal drop-off.

What vehicle fitment must I confirm before the Spartan antenna will work?

You must confirm your exact vehicle in the drop-down selector — the antenna uses USA stainless-steel threading (part A601-JJP-15) designed specifically for Jeep Wrangler and Gladiator models.

Will the 13 3/4 inch length and removable carbon tip clear my existing roof rack?

At 13 3/4 inches the Spartan is far shorter than the factory mast, and the patented removable carbon-fibre tip lets you lower the profile further so it typically clears roof racks and garage doors.
