HDMI 2.1 Daughterboard for Dell OptiPlex
This HDMI 2.1 daughterboard adds a rear-panel HDMI 2.1 port to compatible Dell OptiPlex and Precision desktops. It replaces the existing I/O module in small-form-factor, micro and MFF chassis. The kit includes the REV 1.0 board and two mounting screws.
Replaces HDMI 2.0 or missing video ports
The board carries Dell part numbers H6HFK and 54YMM, which support HDMI 2.1 signalling. Earlier D P/Ns such as HXPK2, 1KNYY or WX01J provide only HDMI 2.0. The upgrade is worth it when the system lacks a rear HDMI port or when the installed port is limited to HDMI 2.0 bandwidth.
Fits SFF, Micro and MFF OptiPlex builds
Installation connects the daughterboard to the motherboard header inside supported OptiPlex 3000, 5000, 7000, 7010, 7020, 3060–3090, 5060–5090, 7060–7090, 7071 and Precision 3240, 3260, 3430, 3431, 3440, 3460 models. It does not fit OptiPlex MT tower desktops. Consult the system service manual before fitting.

Questions about this item
Does this daughterboard fit the rear I/O slot on my OptiPlex 7010 SFF?
Yes, the card is listed as compatible with OptiPlex 7010 SFF and Micro models, plus the 3000, 5000 and 7000 series SFF and Micro towers.
Which screws secure the HDMI 2.1 daughterboard to the chassis?
The pack includes two screws; use them to fasten the board's mounting tabs to the rear-panel cutout after seating the edge connector into the motherboard header.
Will I need to replace the HDMI port itself after heavy use?
The HDMI 2.1 port is soldered to the REV 1.0 daughterboard, so any port failure means swapping the entire board rather than just the connector.
