Astro Gaming KSUN 4G Network Walkie Talkies

These handheld radios combine 4G POC connectivity with UHF short-range intercom in a single device. They ship with a pre-paid SIM card covering the first year and lifetime POC account fees. The IP68 waterproof rating protects against rain and immersion during outdoor use.

Check 4G coverage in your operating area before

The POC function relies on cellular networks and offers a range over 1000 miles where signal exists. UHF mode works independently for local communication. If you plan to use more than two units, you must provide POC account numbers and IMEI codes to the supplier for group configuration.

Suits teams needing both wide-area

Outdoor professionals, logistics crews and hikers benefit from dual-mode flexibility without monthly subscription fees after the first year. Buyers who require satellite communication or licensed radio bands should look at dedicated equipment instead.

Questions about this item

Does the 2-pack include everything needed to start talking over 4G, or do I need a separate SIM or subscription?

The two radios ship with pre-paid SIM cards that give one year of service and lifetime POC account fees; after the first year you can renew the SIM yourself on the KSUN website.

How do I decide between using the 4G POC mode and the UHF short-range mode on these dual-mode handsets?

The unit has two antennas and supports both modes simultaneously with trunking between them; use 4G POC for over 1,000-mile range and UHF for local off-network talk.

What does the IP68 rating mean when I'm hiking in heavy rain or crossing a stream?

IP68 means the radio is dust-tight and can withstand continuous immersion, so rain, splashes or brief submersion will not stop it working.
