Universal Radiator Pressure Tester Kit

This kit combines a radiator pressure tester with a vacuum-type cooling system filler for automotive service work. It is designed for technicians and DIY users who need to diagnose leaks and refill cooling systems without introducing air pockets. The universal design fits a wide range of vehicle makes and models. It comes as a single package weighing 13.45 units.

Vacuum Cooling System Filler Included

The vacuum filling function removes air from the cooling circuit before drawing in fresh coolant, which helps prevent overheating caused by trapped air. This integrated approach replaces the need for separate pressure testing and bleeding tools. Buyers who require a powered flush machine or specialised adaptors for heavy-duty trucks will need additional equipment.

Questions about this item

Which seals or adapters on the 78585 kit typically need replacing after repeated pressure-testing cycles?

The rubber seals on the pressure cap and the various radiator adapters are the parts most likely to wear out and require replacement over time.

What pressure limit on the 78585 tester is reached first during a long cooling-system test?

The tester’s gauge maximum is the first limit reached; sustained pressure above that reading cannot be measured accurately.
