31.5-inch QHD curved gaming monitor

The ASUS TUF Gaming VG32WQ3B is a 31.5-inch QHD curved gaming monitor built for competitive players who want immersive visuals. Its 1500R curvature keeps every point on the 2560 x 1440 panel equidistant to the eyes. A 180 Hz refresh rate and 0.5 ms response time target fast-paced genres such as shooters and racers. The Fast VA panel covers 90 % of the DCI-P3 gamut for vivid colour.

Thermals noise and power draw

The monitor uses a non-glare coating and 300 cd/m² brightness to maintain comfortable viewing during long sessions. A 3500:1 contrast ratio helps dark scenes stay readable without raising backlight intensity. Wide 178° horizontal and vertical viewing angles reduce the need for constant repositioning. No active cooling or fan noise is mentioned in the specifications.

Build quality and connectivity

A three-sided frameless bezel and black cabinet give a clean desktop presence. AMD FreeSync operates over both DisplayPort and HDMI inputs for tear-free variable refresh rates. ASUS Extreme Low Motion Blur and Shadow Boost features enhance motion clarity and dark-detail visibility. The package includes a complimentary three-month Adobe Creative Cloud subscription valid until 2025.

Questions about this item

Will this 31.5-inch curved monitor fit on a standard VESA mount?

The monitor uses a 1500R curvature and a 3-sided frameless bezel, so you will need a VESA mount rated for 31.5-inch screens with enough clearance for the curve depth.

Does the 180 Hz refresh rate work over both DisplayPort and HDMI?

AMD FreeSync is supported through both DP and HDMI ports, enabling variable refresh rates up to 180 Hz on compatible graphics cards.

What cable do I need to get the full 0.5 ms response time at QHD resolution?

Use a DisplayPort cable certified for the required bandwidth; the 0.5 ms GTG response time is achieved at the native 2560 x 1440 resolution and 180 Hz refresh rate.
