ASUS ATS RX 7800 XT OC Edition 16GB

This graphics card targets gamers and content creators who need high frame rates at 1440p and 4K resolutions. The ATS series design focuses on reliable cooling and durable components for sustained heavy workloads. It fits standard PCIe 4.0 motherboard slots and provides modern display outputs for current monitors.

16GB GDDR6 memory capacity

The 16GB GDDR6 frame buffer is the specification that determines if this card suits your workload. It holds large texture packs, high-resolution assets and complex scenes without swapping to system memory. This capacity supports modern titles at maximum settings and professional applications that demand ample video memory.

Dual BIOS switch and reinforced backplate

A hardware switch selects between quiet and performance BIOS profiles to match acoustic or thermal preferences. The reinforced backplate stiffens the circuit board to prevent bending during transport or installation. Axial-tech fans with dual ball bearings and Auto-Extreme assembly complete the durability package.

Questions about this item

What does the 16 GB GDDR6 mean for real-world gaming?

The 16 GB GDDR6 frame buffer lets modern titles hold high-resolution textures and geometry without swapping to system memory, keeping frame rates stable at 1440p and 4K settings.

How does the PCIe 4.0 interface limit performance?

PCIe 4.0 x16 provides ample bandwidth for the GPU; only extreme compute workloads or future cards would saturate the link, so current gaming sees no practical cap.

What clearance does the reinforced backplate and axial-tech cooler need in a case?

The reinforced backplate adds rigidity but does not increase the card thickness beyond a standard dual-slot profile, so any case accepting a full-length dual-slot card will fit it.
