Compact 2.4 GHz wireless mouse with 16 buttons

This ASUS elec Space mouse connects through a 2.4 GHz USB receiver stored inside the top cover. It is designed for right-handed use and offers an adjustable grip style. The optical sensor runs at 1600 DPI and the unit weighs 2.1 ounces.

Plug-and-play setup with receiver storage

No driver is required; insert the receiver into a USB port, add two AAA batteries (not included), and turn the switch on. If the link does not establish, power-cycle the mouse and hold the three main buttons for three to five seconds. The main installation issue is forgetting the batteries or leaving the receiver inside the cover.

Suited to users wanting many programmable buttons

The 16-button layout and 5.1 x 12.9 x 13.6 cm footprint suit gamers or productivity users who need macros on the move. Buyers who want a rechargeable battery, wired-only operation, or a larger palm-filling shape should look at something else.
