Refurbished RTX 3070 Ti for 1440p gaming

This ASUS TUF OC V2 graphics card is a manufacturer-refurbished unit tested for full function. It targets gamers building or upgrading a PCI Express 4.0 system who want 8 GB of GDDR6X memory. The card arrives in an anti-static bag inside a plain box with an ASUS refurbished label and includes no accessories.

Upgrade path from 8 GB GTX cards

The 8 GB GDDR6X frame buffer replaces older 8 GB GTX models that use slower memory, so the jump is worth it when texture-heavy 1440p titles exceed the bandwidth of those earlier cards. Buyers who need more than 8 GB of VRAM for 4K ultra settings or heavy creative workloads should look elsewhere.

8 GB GDDR6X headroom and limits

Eight gigabytes of GDDR6X comfortably handles modern 1440p gaming at high refresh rates and supports multi-monitor and VR ready configurations. The capacity runs out in 4K ultra scenarios that demand larger texture pools or in professional rendering jobs that exceed the 8 GB buffer.

Questions about this item

What slot and clearance does the TUF-RTX3070TI-O8G-V2-GAMING need?

It installs in a PCI Express 4.0 x16 slot and occupies a standard dual-slot footprint; check that your case has room for a full-length card.

Which power connectors must be seated for the RTX 3070 Ti to start?

The card requires two 8-pin PCIe power cables fully inserted; the most common mistake is leaving one connector loose or using a single daisy-chained cable.

When should the thermal paste or fans on this 8GB GDDR6X model be serviced?

Plan to clean the axial fans every six to twelve months and consider repasting the GPU die after two to three years if temperatures rise.
