Gundam Edition RTX 3080

The ASUS GeForce RTX 3080 Gundam is a manufacturer-refurbished graphics card built around the NVIDIA GeForce GTX 30 Series GPU. It carries 10GB of GDDR6 memory and features the distinctive Gundam-themed styling. This unit suits enthusiasts who want the visual design and the 10GB frame buffer for 1440p or 4K gaming. Buyers who need included accessories or a factory-sealed retail box should look elsewhere.

PCIe 4.0 x16 integration

The card connects through a PCI Express 4.0 x16 slot and provides one HDMI port plus one DisplayPort for multi-monitor or VR-ready setups. No low-profile bracket is included, so the build must accommodate a full-height expansion slot. Because the package contains only the video card inside an anti-static bag and a plain box, the builder must source any required power cables, mounting hardware or software separately. This frees up budget otherwise spent on bundled extras.

Sustained load behaviour

ASUS tests each refurbished unit to confirm full functionality before it ships with a refurbished label. The 10GB GDDR6 buffer and the GTX 30 Series architecture maintain stable throughput during extended gaming or rendering sessions. The Gundam edition uses the standard ROG Strix cooling design to manage thermals under continuous load. The plain-box delivery means the card arrives ready to install without retail packaging overhead.

Questions about this item

At what temperature does the RTX 3080 Gundam start to throttle during long sessions?

The card follows NVIDIA's standard thermal limits for the GeForce RTX 3080, reducing clocks once the GPU core reaches its defined maximum temperature threshold.

How loud are the fans and what is the power draw when the card runs all day?

The ROG Strix cooler uses a triple-fan design that spins down at idle and ramps up under load; the board draws power through three 8-pin connectors rated for the RTX 3080's typical board power.

My motherboard only has PCIe 3.0 slots — will the Gundam card work at full speed?

The card uses a PCI Express 4.0 x16 interface and is backward compatible with PCIe 3.0 slots, though bandwidth-heavy workloads may see a small reduction compared to a 4.0 platform.
