TUF RTX 3080 10GB GDDR6X card

This ASUS GeForce RTX 3080 TUF graphics card carries 10GB of GDDR6X memory on a PCI Express 4.0 x16 interface. It is a manufacturer refurbished unit tested by ASUS and sold as the video card only. The TUF version targets builders who want a GeForce GTX 30 Series GPU without paying new-stock pricing.

Sustained load behaviour on PCIe 4.0 x16

The card connects through a PCIe 4.0 x16 slot and delivers the memory bandwidth of its 10GB GDDR6X frame buffer during extended sessions. Thermal performance will depend on case airflow because the cooler is the standard TUF design. Buyers who need guaranteed boost clocks under continuous heavy compute should verify their chassis cooling first.

Installation notes for refurbished TUF unit

The card occupies a standard dual-slot footprint and requires the usual auxiliary power connectors for the RTX 3080. No low-profile bracket, SLI bridge, driver disk or manual is included in the plain box. Builders who need extra display outputs beyond the single HDMI and single DisplayPort should plan for adapters or a different model.

Questions about this item

How loud and hot does the TUF RTX 3080 run under continuous load?

The card uses ASUS TUF cooling with axial-tech fans designed for lower noise and better heat dissipation during extended gaming or rendering sessions.

What power connectors and PSU capacity does the RTX 3080 10GB require?

It draws power through two 8-pin PCIe connectors and needs a quality power supply with sufficient wattage for the GPU plus the rest of the system.

Will the PCIe 4.0 x16 interface work properly in my older PCIe 3.0 motherboard slot?

Yes, the card is backward compatible and will run at PCIe 3.0 x16 speeds with negligible performance impact in most applications.
