XXL desk coverage

The ROG Scabbard II Arctic Gray XXL measures 35.4 by 15.7 inches, covering 900 by 400 millimetres of desk space. This single mat accommodates a laptop, keyboard and mouse together, protecting the surface from spills and scratches. Its 3 millimetre thickness adds a slight cushion for wrist comfort during long sessions.

Sustained glide consistency

The textile-weave surface uses a special coating rated 1.5 times smoother than standard fabrics, maintaining low friction over extended use. A water-, oil- and dust-repellent layer prevents contamination from degrading tracking performance. The non-slip base keeps the pad stationary through repeated, rapid mouse movements.

Upgrade from frayed or narrow pads

The anti-fray, narrow-stitched edges are 12 percent less bulky than conventional stitching, reducing edge drag that irritates wrists during broad sweeps. Buyers replacing a pad with curling edges or a smaller footprint gain a durable, easy-to-clean surface that stays flat. Users needing a hard, low-profile surface or a compact pad for tight desks should look elsewhere.

Questions about this item

Does the 3 mm thickness trap heat under the wrist during long sessions?

The 3 mm cushion adds comfort without sealing heat; the textile-weave surface stays cool because air circulates through the open weave.

What desk space is needed for the 900 x 400 mm footprint?

A clear area at least 35.4 by 15.7 inches lets the pad lie flat; the non-slip base keeps it in place on most desk finishes.

Will the anti-fray stitching catch on a mouse with low lift-off distance?

The narrow-stitched edges sit 12 % closer to the surface than standard stitching, reducing edge friction for low-profile sensors.
