Carbon Fibre Shell and 47 Gram Weight

The ASUS ROG Harpe Ace Extreme is a right-handed wireless gaming mouse built around a carbon fibre composite shell that keeps the total weight to 47 grams without the dongle or cable. It connects through USB Type-C wired, 2.4 GHz RF and Bluetooth modes, and includes a Polling Rate Booster for high-speed wireless use. The package supplies the mouse, an Omni Receiver, booster, extender, paracord cable, grip tape, glass feet and PTFE feet.

ROG AimPoint Pro Sensor at 42000 DPI

The defining specification is the ROG AimPoint Pro optical sensor, rated at 42000 DPI with less than one percent CPI deviation and 50 G acceleration. It supports report rates of 1000, 2000, 4000 and 8000 Hz, and the optical micro switches are rated for 100 million clicks. Corning Gorilla Glass mouse feet are included to reduce friction on hard pads.

Esports Players Prioritising Ultralight Wireless

Competitive players who want an ultralight wireless shape co-developed with professionals will benefit from the 47 gram carbon fibre build, 8000 Hz polling and glass skates. Buyers who need more programmable buttons than the five main buttons plus DPI and pairing buttons, or who require left-handed or ambidextrous designs, should look at other models.

Questions about this item

How does the 42,000 DPI sensor perform in actual gameplay?

The ROG AimPoint Pro sensor delivers <1% CPI deviation and tracks on glass, giving consistent precision at any sensitivity setting.

What wireless report rates are possible and what limits them?

The mouse supports 1000, 2000, 4000 and 8000 Hz wireless polling; the 8000 Hz rate requires the included ROG Polling Rate Booster.

What does the 47 g weight mean for mounting and daily use?

At 47 g without dongle or cable, the carbon fibre shell keeps the mouse light enough for low-friction swipes while the Corning Gorilla Glass feet reduce required force.
