Ergonomic Thumb Trackball

The ASUS PORLEI is a right-handed trackball gaming mouse built around a 34 mm ball operated by the thumb. Its sculpted shape keeps the palm at a natural angle to reduce muscle strain during long sessions. RGB lighting adds visual flair while 16 buttons provide extensive control options for gaming or productivity tasks.

Office Workers and Creatives

The fixed 100 to 1200 DPI range suits precise cursor work but may feel slow for fast-paced gaming. Forward and backward buttons do not function on Mac OS, so macOS users lose two navigation shortcuts. Buttons cannot be reprogrammed, limiting customisation for power users who rely on macros or per-application profiles.

1.8 m USB-A Wired Connection

A 1.8 metre cable plugs directly into a USB-A port for a stable, driver-free link. The specifications also list Bluetooth and 2.4 GHz interfaces, though the cable ensures consistent response when wireless spectrum is crowded. Dimensions of 6.096 cm by 11.2014 cm by 15.0114 cm confirm a compact desktop footprint.

Questions about this item

How much desk space do the 6.096 cm x 11.2014 cm x 15.0114 cm dimensions and 34 mm trackball require?

The mouse measures 6.096 cm wide, 11.2014 cm deep and 15.0114 cm high. Its stationary trackball design means it stays in one spot, so you only need room for the footprint itself.

What is the correct way to wake the mouse after the 30-minute sleep timer in wireless mode?

Click any mouse button. Rolling the trackball or moving the device will not wake it; only a button press restores the connection.

When should the 34 mm trackball be removed for cleaning?

Remove the ball whenever cursor movement feels rough or gritty. Pop it out, wipe the ball and the three support bearings with a lint-free cloth, then seat the ball back in place.
