ASUS Prime AP202 Gaming Desktop

The ASUS Prime AP202 is a pre-built gaming desktop aimed at players and creators who want a ready-to-run system without assembling parts. It ships with Windows 11 Home installed and includes Wi-Fi and RGB lighting. The liquid-cooled chassis keeps the high-performance CPU and GPU at stable temperatures during extended sessions.

24-Core Intel Core Ultra 9 285K

The Intel Core Ultra 9 285K provides 24 cores running at a 5.7GHz base frequency on the LGA 1851 platform. This delivers strong headroom for modern games, streaming, and multi-threaded workloads such as video editing or 3D rendering. The 32GB DDR5 memory kit fills all four slots, so adding more capacity would require replacing modules. The 4TB NVMe SSD offers ample space for large game libraries and project files.

360mm Liquid Cooling and 850W PSU

A 360mm liquid cooler handles the processor heat load, reducing the need for high internal airflow compared to air-cooled builds. The 850W power supply supports the RTX 5070 Ti and leaves margin for additional drives or peripherals. The system uses a standard desktop form factor, fitting typical mid-tower cases. Buyers needing more than 32GB RAM or multiple graphics cards should consider a workstation-class platform instead.

Questions about this item

Will the LGA 1851 socket and 850W power supply support my existing PCIe add-in cards and storage drives?

The motherboard uses the LGA 1851 socket with a PCI Express x16 slot for the RTX 5070 Ti, and the 850W unit powers the 24-core Core Ultra 9 285K and 16GB GDDR7 GPU. Additional cards fit the remaining PCIe slots, while SATA III ports accept existing 2.5" or 3.5" drives alongside the 4TB NVMe boot drive.

How can I verify the 360mm liquid cooler is keeping the Core Ultra 9 285K at its 5.7GHz boost under load?

After Windows 11 Home boots, open Task Manager or a hardware monitor and watch the CPU frequency hold 5.7GHz during a sustained benchmark; the 360mm liquid cooler is sized for the 24-core processor, so temperatures should stay in the normal operating range without throttling.

What ships inside the AP202 chassis and which common peripherals are not included?

The box contains the assembled desktop with Core Ultra 9 285K, RTX 5070 Ti 16GB GDDR7, 32GB DDR5, 4TB NVMe SSD, 360mm liquid cooler, 850W power supply and Windows 11 Home pre-installed. Monitor, keyboard, mouse, speakers and any extra SATA drives must be purchased separately.
