Prime AP202 Gaming Desktop

The ASUS Prime AP202 is a pre-built gaming desktop powered by an Intel Core Ultra 9 285K 24-core processor running at 5.7GHz. It pairs that CPU with an NVIDIA GeForce RTX 5070 graphics card carrying 12GB GDDR7 memory. The system includes 32GB DDR5 RAM, a 4TB NVMe SSD and an 850W power supply, all cooled by a 360mm liquid cooler.

Upgrade From Older Desktops

This machine replaces an ageing tower that struggles at 1440p or cannot run modern titles at high settings. The jump is worth it when your current CPU limits frame rates in simulation or strategy games, or when your GPU lacks the VRAM for current texture packs. The 24-core architecture and 12GB GDDR7 address both bottlenecks in one step.

Check Compatibility Before Ordering

Verify that your monitor uses a DisplayPort or HDMI input compatible with the RTX 5070 PCI Express x16 output. Confirm your desk space fits a full-size tower with a 360mm radiator mounted internally. Ensure your household circuit can sustain the 850W PSU under load. The four DDR5 slots are fully populated, so future memory expansion requires module replacement.

Questions about this item

Will the 360 mm liquid cooler fit in my case?

The 360 mm liquid cooler is factory-installed inside the AP202 chassis, so no separate mounting or clearance check is required.

What is the correct order for installing the RTX 5070 and connecting the 850 W PSU cables?

The GPU and power supply are pre-installed; simply connect the display cable to the RTX 5070 and the mains lead to the 850 W PSU.

When should I replace the liquid in the 360 mm cooler?

The sealed 360 mm cooler is maintenance-free for the life of the system and does not require fluid replacement.
