ASUS Prime AP202 desktop PC

The ASUS Prime AP202 is a pre-built gaming desktop PC built around an AMD Ryzen 7 9700X 8-core processor running at 3.8GHz and an NVIDIA GeForce RTX 5070 graphics card with 12GB GDDR7 memory. It ships with 64GB DDR5 RAM and a 4TB NVMe SSD, running Windows 11 Home. This system targets gamers and creators who want a ready-to-use high-performance machine without assembling components themselves.

Thermals noise and power

A 360mm liquid cooler handles CPU thermals under load while the 850W power supply delivers stable power to the GPU and other components. The liquid cooling loop helps maintain lower temperatures compared to air coolers during extended sessions. Fan and pump noise will vary with workload but the larger radiator surface area allows slower fan speeds at equivalent cooling capacity.

Graphics card VRAM capacity

The RTX 5070 provides 12GB of GDDR7 video memory which determines the texture resolution and asset complexity the card can hold at once. Buyers targeting 4K gaming with maximum texture packs or professional workloads requiring larger frame buffers should verify this capacity meets their specific software requirements before purchase.

Questions about this item

How is the 360mm liquid cooler installed and what step do people get wrong?

The 360mm liquid cooler arrives pre-installed on the Ryzen 7 9700X. The step people miss is removing the shipping brackets that protect the pump and radiator during transit before powering on.

What maintenance will the liquid cooler need later?

The sealed 360mm liquid cooler is maintenance-free for its service life. No refilling or fluid changes are required; only dust the radiator fins periodically to keep airflow clear.

What limit shows up first under sustained gaming load?

The 850W power supply sets the system power ceiling. Under heavy combined CPU and RTX 5070 load, total draw approaches this rating before thermal limits on the 360mm cooler are reached.
