ASUS Prime AP202 Gaming Desktop

The ASUS Prime AP202 is a pre-built gaming desktop powered by an AMD Ryzen 7 9700X processor and NVIDIA GeForce RTX 5080 graphics. It arrives with Windows 11 Home installed and a 360mm liquid cooler fitted. This system targets players who want high-frame-rate 4K gaming without assembling parts themselves.

Sustained load with 360mm liquid cooling

A 360mm liquid cooler handles the 8-core CPU during extended sessions, while the 1000W power supply feeds the RTX 5080 and 32GB DDR5 memory. The 2TB NVMe SSD keeps level loads fast. Component brands may vary, so thermal behaviour can differ between individual units of the same model.

Check case clearance and memory plans

Verify your space fits the AP202 chassis and that your monitor has the required display inputs for the RTX 5080. The motherboard offers four DDR5 slots with all four currently populated, so future memory upgrades require replacing existing modules. Ensure your desk setup accommodates the system's physical footprint.

Questions about this item

How loud and hot does the 360 mm liquid cooler keep the Ryzen 7 9700X during all-day gaming?

The 360 mm liquid cooler is designed to handle the 8-core Ryzen 7 9700X heat output continuously, keeping temperatures lower and fans quieter than air coolers under sustained load.

Do I need to buy a monitor, keyboard and mouse separately to use this PC?

Yes, the system ships as a tower only with Windows 11 Home installed; you must provide your own display, keyboard and mouse to operate it.

Will my existing SATA III hard drives work inside this desktop?

The motherboard includes SATA III ports, so any 2.5-inch or 3.5-inch SATA drive you already own can be added alongside the 2 TB NVMe boot drive.
