Ready-to-play desktop

The ASUS Prime AP202 arrives as a fully assembled gaming desktop PC running Windows 11 Home. It pairs an AMD Ryzen 7 9800X3D 16-core processor at 4.7GHz with an NVIDIA GeForce RTX 5080 graphics card carrying 16GB GDDR7 memory. The system targets enthusiasts who want high frame rates at demanding resolutions without building from parts.

Core platform and expansion

A 360mm liquid cooler handles the CPU thermal load while a 1000W power supply feeds the GPU and other components. Four DDR5 slots are installed and all four are populated with 32GB total, leaving no free slots for memory upgrades. The 2TB NVMe SSD provides the primary storage volume; a SATA III interface is present for additional drives if the chassis allows.

Sustained-load behaviour

The liquid cooling loop is designed to maintain CPU clocks during extended sessions rather than only short bursts. The RTX 5080 delivers its rated performance while the 1000W unit supplies stable power to the complete platform. Builders who need more internal storage bays or a different cooling approach should verify chassis clearance before purchase.

Questions about this item

Will the Ryzen 7 9800X3D throttle under sustained 16-core load?

A 360mm liquid cooler is fitted to the AM5 socket CPU to manage thermals during extended high-frequency operation.

How loud and hot does the 1000W PSU run when the RTX 5080 and CPU push full power all day?

The 1000W unit supplies the RTX 5080 16GB GDDR7 and Ryzen 7 9800X3D; liquid cooling moves CPU heat directly to the radiator instead of the case interior.

Does the AP202 need an external monitor, keyboard and mouse to work out of the box?

Windows 11 Home is pre-installed and the system ships tested; only a display and input devices are required to start gaming.
